The Tobacco Industry Marketing Board’s technical sales director, Andrew Matibiri, said that, based on tobacco seed sales, Zimbabwe would produce about 132 million pounds during 2007-2008.

The 2005-2006 production is thought to have dropped to an all-time low of 110 million pounds from last season’s 163 million pounds.
