New sales manager at GoldLeaf Seed
Gordon Johnson of Greenville, N.C., has been named sales manager for GoldLeaf Sales Co., selling flue-cured and burley tobacco in the five-state tobacco belt that includes North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Johnson is a 30-year veteran seedsman who previously served with Syngenta/NK and Funks G Seed. He replaces Tom Woodlief, who has retired after serving in sales positions for 30 years in the tobacco industry, including 11 years with GoldLeaf Seed.
